Consultation

During the first appointment, your doctor will understand your main concerns, what are your expectations and what results you desire to achieve.

Intraoral scan and pictures
During the consultation, the orthodontist will take full records; extra oral picture of your face, intra oral pictures and 3D scan for your teeth. All necessary information is provided to Lumi laboratory for a well studied 3D simulation and treatment planning.

Treatment plan

Your doctor communicates the expectations and desired outcome with Lumi. He makes sure the 3D simulation design of the alignment of your teeth and final occlusion are clinically feasible.

Communication and approval
Your doctor communicates the treatment plan to the laboratory. You may have the opportunity to review your treatment plan with your doctor, ask questions, before giving your approval.

Manufacturing

Once approved, your custom aligners are fabricated and sent to the clinic.

Wearing your aligners
The first appointment at the clinic is to place attachments, do IPR (stripping) and give all guidelines. For effective treatment, wear each set of aligners for 22 hours a day over a period of 7-10 days.

Periodic check-ups

Your doctor decides on the frequency of your appointments, giving you many aligners to change at home. He monitors the progress and makes adjustments when needed.

Refinement
When all aligners are worn, the doctor will evaluate the need for refinement, if the results do not match expectations yet.

Completion and retention

Once the treatment is complete, you will be given a set of retainers, to be worn every night, to maintain the new alignment of your teeth and occlusion.
