As a Lab Technologist at Lumi Aligners, you will be an integral part of our production and execution team, responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of our dental laboratory to produce high-quality clear aligners, as well as treatment planning and accomplishing simulations with the team.
You will work in a dynamic environment alongside skilled technologists to ensure correct 3D planning of each case and contribute to the advancement of orthodontic treatment technology.
Responsibilities
- Fabricate clear aligners according to prescribed treatment plans provided by orthodontists.
- Operate and maintain dental laboratory equipment, including 3D printers, thermoforming machines, and scanners.
- Conduct quality control checks on finished aligners to ensure accuracy, fit, and comfort for patients.
- Maintain accurate records of production processes, including patient information and production data.
- Adhere to strict disinfection protocols to ensure a clean and safe working environment.
- Treatment planning and use of aligners software for 3D simulation.
- Assist in inventory management by tracking supplies and materials, and replenishing as needed.
- Stay updated on industry advancements and best practices in orthodontic technology and aligner fabrication techniques.
Must Have
- Bachelor Degree or Higher.
- Certification or formal training in dental technology.
- Previous experience working in a dental laboratory or similar setting.
- Proficiency in operating dental laboratory equipment, including 3D printers and thermoforming machines.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of quality and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to meet production deadlines.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with colleagues.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with CAD/CAM software used in dental applications.
- Experience with digital impression systems and orthodontic treatment planning software.
- Knowledge of orthodontic principles and terminology.
- Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues and perform basic repairs.
- Willingness to participate in continuing education and training programs related to orthodontic technology.
